Enterprise Automation Case Study

Enterprise Banking Automation Portfolio

More than 6,000 estimated annual hours of manual effort eliminated across business-critical workflows.

Overview

Owning automation beyond initial development

I designed, developed, deployed, and supported enterprise automation solutions for banking operations and internal business teams.

The work involved high-volume processes, legacy and Java applications, external databases, SharePoint, APIs, Microsoft tools, and core banking platforms. Each solution needed to be accurate, maintainable, and dependable enough to support real operations.

The underlying systems and workflows are confidential, so this case study describes generalized architecture, responsibilities, and measured outcomes without exposing customer information, proprietary code, screenshots, or internal process maps.

Selected Outcomes

Four workflows with measurable operational impact

3,000 hours

Loan-Processing Automation

Designed and implemented an end-to-end automation for a high-volume loan-processing workflow, reducing repeated manual work while supporting consistent execution.

1,000 hours

Banking-Platform Data Migration

Developed automation that moved and transformed data between a vendor banking platform and internal core systems.

1,000 hours

Database-to-SharePoint Integration

Built an automated integration between external database sources and SharePoint, improving availability and reducing repeated movement of information.

1,000+ hours

Internal Application & Maintenance Automation

Automated internal Java application work and created a company-wide C# driver-update utility to improve automation maintainability.

End-to-End Ownership

My responsibilities

  • Worked with business users and process owners to clarify operational requirements.
  • Documented workflows and identified high-value automation opportunities.
  • Designed solution logic, integrations, validation, exception handling, and recovery paths.
  • Built and tested automations against real business scenarios.
  • Coordinated deployment, operational handoff, maintenance, and enhancements.
  • Diagnosed production failures, performed root-cause analysis, and communicated risks and status.

What This Demonstrates

Production judgment, not just automation tooling

This portfolio demonstrates my ability to translate business requirements into technical systems, integrate multiple platforms, deploy production solutions, diagnose failures, and improve systems after release.
